Being situated between Seaton Village and The Annex means we have access to some of the best local food spots in all of Toronto. Though we are sure that each neighbourhood would boast that the best restaurants reside in theirs, we know foodies from far and wide will travel here to visit these restauants that feature unique dining options, flavours and more!

These are Minerva’s Picks for Neighbourhood Food Spots.

Emily Rose Cafe

721 Palmerston Avenue
Toronto, ON MH9P25
416-792-4000

Located at 721 Palmerston Ave, Emily Rose Cafe is the perfect neighborhood spot that offers coffee, handmade pastries, baked goods and more!

Being open for a little over two years now, this neighborhood spot is always finding ways to support the Seaton Village community through Food Drives, donations, vintage markets and carrying products from local Toronto artists.

On top of the great coffee, you can always be sure to find an assortment of unique pickled items, sauces (if you’re lucky to get your hands on one) and dips. Not to mention that it’s the perfect spot to relax outside and people watch!

Tiny Market Co

938 Bathurst Street
Toronto, ON MH9PJR
613-295-7184

What started out as a passion project has quickly turned into a busy production project!

Made up of a “tiny” team of 5, Tiny Market Co. opened its doors at the endof 2021 by chef Erich Mrak. Retail was the original concept behind this shop but quickly transitioned into a full kitchen offering fresh pasta and sauces, take out lunches, 7 course tasting nights, private cooking classes, wholesale and catering.

With quality at the forefront of Tiny Market, it’s no surprise that our community has become drawn to its assortment of offerings.

What are you doing for lunch this week?

They make everything in house from the tortillas to their sodas and curate a unique selection of cocktails and beers. On weekends, they are also open for brunch!
